Pre-Licensing Courses

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission regulations require that an applicant successfully complete a course in Real Estate Practice and Real Estate Fundamentals before they can apply to take the State Real Estate Exam. The Real Estate Commission requires a student attend at least 80% of the course and receive a passing grade to receive credit for the course. The 2 courses may be taken in any order.

Please note: The SAME TEXTBOOK is used for both the Fundamentals and Practice courses. If you register for both courses, you can deselect the book purchase for one of the courses.

RE Practice - PENNSYLVANIA				Hide Course Details
This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to all facets of the real estate business including a survey a specialization. Emphasis is on the role of a real estate agent in the field of residential brokerage. This course is designed to acquaint the student in the basic techniques, procedures, regulations and ethics involved in a real estate transaction, along with a working knowledge of the forms and documents used including the related mathematics.

Principles and Practices of Real Estate for Salespersons - MARYLAND				Hide Course Details
This course covers all the technical aspects of real estate math, law and theory. The course is 64 hours, and mandatory attendance is required for successful completion. The course is offered in a variety of time options to accommodate your schedule and learning pace. REQUIREMENTS: Must provide a copy of your high school diploma or GED, and must be 18 years old at the time of your application for a real estate license.
